The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has released the results of the June/July 2026 National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations. The examinations were conducted nationwide from 15 June to 13 July 2026 across 2,144 centres. Candidates were entered for engineering, construction, miscellaneous, business and general education subjects under the NBC/NTC examination structure.

What the 2026 performance figures mean
NABTEB’s Registrar said the 2026 result represented an improvement over the previous cycle. The main reports put the share obtaining five credits including English Language and Mathematics at approximately 81 per cent, compared with 68.18 per cent in 2025. A further 89,580 candidates were reported to have obtained five credits and above with or without English Language and Mathematics.
The release also reported that 24,128 candidates were certified as craftsmen. If your result is not displaying
Do not assume immediately that the result has been withheld. First confirm that you selected the correct examination type and year and that every number was entered correctly. Try the official checker again later if the portal is busy, and keep a screenshot of any error message that identifies the problem.
If the problem continues, contact NABTEB through the contact details published on nabteb.gov.ng or visit the school or approved centre that handled your registration. Have your candidate number, centre information and payment details available when asking for help. Avoid sending your PIN or full result-checking details to an unofficial agent.
Do not pay anyone to change a NABTEB result
NABTEB has warned candidates against fraudsters who promise to upgrade, alter or insert grades. A person offering to change a legitimately awarded result cannot make that promise lawfully. Use only the Board’s official result service and approved support channels.
Do not post a complete result-checking PIN, candidate number or personal details in a public WhatsApp group or social-media comment. If you need assistance, hide sensitive numbers in screenshots and share only what the official support desk requests.
